Superior Ice Maker from Hammacher
Hammacher has a ton of ideaq’s for gifts no matter the holiday or celebration. I mean seriously, there is a gift on this website for everyone. There are gift for your husband, sister, brother, and even your boss. If you like ecentric, there is a gift. If you lile plain Jane, there is a gift.
My birthday is coming up.
Hint by the way!
One of my favorite gifts from them is this tabletop ice maker. It is called The Supior Tabletop Icemaker from Whynter. It sits on my counter and it makes ice for me all day long.
That makes me incredible happy. As long as I remember to make sure there is water inside, I have ice. Ice water is my go to drink. If I have ice, I will drink water. Water is best, to me, where there is ice in the cup. Pair it with a straw and I am set. I really love my stainless steel cup and I have a set of some really colorful straws that I use.
This ice maker, from Hammacher has been a life-saver for me. The only con, is that it does not keep the ice cold. However, I drink enough ice water that it does not matter much. As the ice melts, it goes back into the resavoir from which the water for the ice is taken from. If it kept it cold too, it would be super amazing. Right now, it is just amazing. I love it. Perfect for gifts.
The shape of the ice is around 1in Conical. It yeilds a batch of 12 at a time. They are done in about 10 minutes from start to finish. Pretty fast! The unit is large, and can be a bit hefty. But not overly so. I personally can easily take it from my counter space to the sink to drain the water. It does have up an 18 hour cycle. It also automatically shuts off. It also stops making the ice when it gets to a certain point. The directions that come with the unit are pretty easy to understand. I give this 4.5/5 stars.
