Mercy Me, It’s Christmas Review + Giveaway
It is now November, and Christmas music is starting t come out in the stores. People are starting to decorate. Families are getting excited to be celebrating the Birth of our Savior. As a Christina, I know He was not born on December 25th, but that is a whole other post.
Mercy Me, It’s Christmas, is probably one of the best Christmas CD’s I have heard in years. It is fun, sassy, and well, just plain great! I just cannot stop listening to it! Normally, I am not a fan of Christmas music before Thanksgiving, but I just cannot get enough of this cd.
My favorite song on the CD is, “Do You Hear What I Hear”. I just started to get goosebumps and tear up. It is so beautiful. It is already one of my favorite songs of the season anyways, but to hear Mercy Me sing it, it just really makes me feel the Joy of the season. Makes me feel the Love of Christ. To be born just to be killed in such a painful way.
The mixture of the fun songs like, “Sleigh Ride”, and “Silent Night”, just makes this a must have Album.
