Casey Fried Chicken Recipe + Sepo Sauce Review
Our family loves Fried Chicken. So, we decided to try out a new sauce to put on before we put it in the flour to coat.
It is called Sepo Sauce. It is a yummy sauce that consists of mayo, cajun seasonings, horseradish, Dijon Mustard, and other yummy goodies in.
This stuff is just awesome. I was not sure I would like it. It has mayo and horseradish in it. GROSS!
But, I figured, using it in a fried dish, it would be fine.
I was right!
My daughter Casey made up some chicken tenders using the Sepo Sauce instead of egg and milk before using flour to coat the chicken.
We called it Casey’s Fried Chicken.
It was just a jar of Sepo Sauce dumped into a bowl, though she left some out so she can dip the chicken into it.
Chicken Tenders. We use a large package. We have a large family. At the time there was 9 of us, though only 7 eat.
Flour with seasonings such as onion, garlic, salt, pepper to taste.
Next coat the chicken with the Sepo Sauce, dip into the flour mixture, then put in a large skillet with oil. We use coconut oil. Fry till a golden brown on each side.
Does that not look Delish? Casey did overcook it a bit. But, it was still very good! My boys and Casey dipped it into Sepo Sauce she had set aside. I personally did not try it. Remember the mayo?
Some other suggestions as found on the Sepo Sauce Website.
SEPO Suggested Recipes & Uses
You can use SEPO as a sauce, dip, spread or salad dressing. Brightens up fried food and mellows out veggies for a well-rounded bite. People have been suggesting that is great on:
Salads, Veggie trays, and as a dip for pita or tortilla chips
Tri tip, Rib Eye, Pork and Chicken as a finishing sauce (does not need applied heat)
Lobster, crab, sautéed or fried fish, shrimp or calamari (absolutely a great substitute for tartar and cocktail sauce for parties)
Use as a dip for bread trays or spread it on your sandwich… replaces at least 4 bottles that you would normally apply to your sandwich bread.
Onion rings, french fries and tempura veggies
Apply it to your skin for that healthy glow (JUST KIDDING)
