Back to School
So, the first day of school started yesterday, but it was really just an organization day for us. We homeschool our children for the most part. Though my last two did finish high school in the public sector. Casey got her GED and Cody graduated this past year. Proud of both of them.
Adam, my lovely 15 year old is starting his Freshman year. We are using several different sources for his books, and I will be outlining them in another post. His Language Arts program I am reviewing for the blog, and so that will also be posted soon! We are super excited about it too!
Jonah is 13 and is in the 7th grade this year. He also has several different books that we are working through. I do not have anything for review at this time for him, but we will I am sure in the future. I am super excited for him! Both are off to a great start!
Poo on Jonah, he would not allow me to take a photo of him today working.
I will get him later. He will comply.
Our homeschool is Christian based, as we believe God is first and foremost in our lives. But we are pretty open-minded and we get input as to what we study with the children. I have always and will always use a bible based program. But we do have some secular things as well. Right now, we are using Lifepacks from Alpha Omega, A history and a Language Arts program from Master Books. As I said, I will lay out what we are using this year in another post complete with either my own personal photo’s or I will use the official photo.
I also have a Back to School guide coming up tomorrow, we have had some major computer snafu’s so I have had to hold off on posting it till I had a computer that worked. It is just about complete. I just need to finish it up. So that will be live tomorrow sometime.
So that is a back to school update!
Talk to you soon!
