A Sephora Christmas in Review
Every year, teen girls everywhere, well most look forward to having some Sephora under the tree. So not be a teen, but, I too look forward to it. I love makeup. Dressing up is fun, so is dressing down with a just a hint of color. I love looking and feeling pretty. I love wearing sweats and throwing on some eye-liner and blush.
Sephora has everything she needs. From cosmetics, to haircare, to skincare… Sephora has it.
When Sephora sent out our review samples, we waited with bated breath for that box to get here.
I am going to show you a few of my favorite items.
So just keep following along.
Marc Jacobs, “About Last Night” $99.
I love this pallet. It is so stinking cute. The pigment is amazing. 20 amazing colors, matte, and shimmer. The pallet comes with a pamphlet that shows how to do certain eye looks.
About Marc Jacobs:
“Celebrated fashion designer Marc Jacobs showed his first collection in 1986, instantly inspiring women to push boundaries and create their own style. His latest creation, Marc Jacobs Beauty, is a revolutionary mix of innovative formulas, indulgent textures and next-generation performance. Discover luxury reinvented.”
This Sephora Mini Team Rouge and Lipstick set is perfect for those that love to put color to their lips. My daughter laid claim to this as soon as she saw it. It has a great selection of colors for her. She is pale and can wear most anything. She prefers the darker colors, where I prefer the light pinks and such. However, this meets the bill. They just glide on so nice, and your lips feel great! It has great pigment and the color lasts almost all day long, if not all day. This set is just $22.00.
As you can see, the color is amazing. Casey recently wore this color and I thought it was perfect on her. Casey is my daughter, most of you already knew this. Will show a photo of her that I will show later.
\\I am a new fan of Living Proof hair products. I was sent the Dry Shampoo, with the trial size of the shampoo and conditioner. While I have not tried the shampoo or conditioner as of yet. I have used the dry shampoo a few times and I absolutely love it. I have tried others in the past, and they always take my breath away, as in I can’t breath while using them, even in a well-ventilated area. Living Proof, I can use. The scent is not strong. It does spray right where you want it to on your hair. It does not go all over the place. I am very pleased. I will continue to use Living Proof in the future. This is also only $22.00. Perfect for a gift under the tree.
Two-Faced The Chocolate Shop , $58.00 is another favorite gift item from Sephora this year. I love Two-Faced Cosmetics anyways, and this is just incredible. Plus, it smells divine!
My favorite of course is the eye shadow pallet. I wear mostly neutrals and this has amazing colors and of course the pigment is great. Long-wearing and long-lasting.
Transport yourself to the ultimate chocolate shop experience with The Chocolate Shop’s iconic, antioxidant-rich cocoa powder formula—infused into 21 eye shadows, a deluxe-sized Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wear Lipstick, and a Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. They’re fragranced with the decadent scent of chocolate and they’ll step up your makeup looks with deluxe sizes of the bestselling Better Than Sex Mascara, Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer, the Luminizer highlighter, and a dazzling blush. It also includes a step-by-step guide Glamour Guide so you can effortlessly create three beauty looks.
House of Lashes from the Sephora collection, $125 is an amazing collection of lashes. Again, this is something my daughter decided she needed. She does such an awesome job at applying them too.
“This deluxe set includes a total of 10 pairs of lashes and two mini tubes of lash adhesive, dark and white. The space-saving, travel-friendly case is perfect for keeping lashes organized for any lash look, anywhere. This set is the perfect gift or starter pack for getting your lash game going”
I am personally learning how to use makeup brushes. But I am loving the sets that Sephora sent. Especially from the Sephora collection, Stand Up and Shine Prestige brushes, and the Stand Up and Sparkle brushes. $99 and $62 respectively. I also like The Glitter Happy set from Sephora $59.
For whatever your application, Sephora has your needs covered.
Make Up Forever, artist lip ink and brush set $32 is a cute set. The color I was sent was this bright red. Casey, of course, can rock that out, so she has that too. She looks amazing! I *think* I have a photo of her wearing it. She loves to play around with things like this.
“A limited-edition, holiday lip color and brush set, inspired by the traditional art of calligraphy, that includes a matte, red liquid lip color and brush.”
Atelier Cologne, Nécessaire Nomade III $45.00 is a great set in a tin for easy travel. The scents are pretty strong. I have never smelled anything like them before. I liked most of them. They are 15% fragrance. So they stay on your skin. There are many different notes. It is hard to choose which one to wear.
Last, but not certainly least, my personal favorite from Sephora is the really cute Marc Jacobs, eye and face pallet. It is called Objects of Desire $69.00. The color combination is amazing. I love the case that it comes in, and hey, the tassel is adorable. I mean come on now, it is super cute! The colors are perfect for me. I feel as if Sephora just said, she has such cute skin, lets send her this.
“Bring the dazzle to your next night out with this exquisite face palette. Create captivating eye looks with the six luxurious eye shadows that deliver sumptuous payoff. Contour and create a glowing look with O!Mega Bronzer, a plush blush in peachy rose, and a limited-edition luminizer in a cool, gold shimmer—all wrapped up in a Marc Jacobs’ metallic gold, vegan patent leather case. Zipped with a swinging tassel, this pouch is so luxe it could double as an evening bag. ”
So, these are just a few of my favorites! I will be doing another post really soon for some more! I didn’t want your eyes to glaze over and you fall asleep on me. So, I kept this short and sweet.
And, as promised, here is Casey. She is wearing all Sephora on her face. Including the Red Ink lip as I talked about earlier in this post. She is also wearing eye liner, lashes, mascara, and eye-shadow. She is amazing!
